 Easy To Hookup & Operate on a Universal Station 

A cost effective, low maintenance way to produce sharp color prints of your Universal Station screens. Use a fast, inexpensive, off-the-shelf Hewlett-Packard DeskJet - the industry standard.

Use captured bitmaps (.BMP) of the last 9 screen prints for use in your standard Windows applications.

Produce accurate display hardcopy for:

  • Documentation

Bitmap Files - Use any of the 9 latest screen prints on your PC by moving the 256 color .BMP files into your applications. Use screens with real values (not the RRRRRRRR of the Picture Editor) in your documents. Multiplex - The VP-2 can be shared by up to 6 US's for more widespread use. The VP-2 and printer can be located up to 50' away for cross-console use. You have it - share it!
Capture Screens - Initiated with the Remote Control pushbutton, conveniently mounted on the US with a 6' cord (25' and 50' extension optional). The green LED indicates ready, busy or error. Save Ink - Choose true-color black background or economize with white background (Full Intensity White & Yellow map to Black & Orange for better legibility).
Plain Paper - Use inexpensive standard 20# photocopy or inkjet printer paper. If you run out of ink, a backup laser printer provides great gray-scale output.

Taps into the video signal between the EPDG or PDG I/O card and US monitor with the supplied cable.
Sits on a desktop under the printer or rack mounted in a standard LCN 5-card chassis (small footprint case $500 extra).
Controls: Power, Reset, 4 button setup keypad, 2 x 16 character LED display, 1.44MB floppy drive and Remote Control module.
Operates on 115 or 230 VAC 50/60 Hz. Main Unit consumes 45 Watts.
