The 3 jumpers, accessed by removing the cover of the unit, are configured as follows:

* Smart Form Feed Suppression eliminates the blank page which is ejected by a laser printer between two successive screen prints (the Print Disp button). A blank page may still be ejected at other times, since the HPI-3000 can't detect the buffer status of the laser printer, and passes all other form feed commands from the Universal Station to the printer.
